Auction Rules

 

This is an Open Bid Sales Event, available to Dealers Only


YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO BID.

 All bidders must registered to bid, only the registered bidder may claim the vehicle. If you need help or rush approval, call Southern Oregon Auto Auction and customer service will walk you through the process. Have your dealer’s license and expiration ready.

HOW DO I BID? 

Login to the Southern Oregon Auto Auction Website, SOAutoAuction.com. Click View and you will see the vehicles running. Start bidding. 

HOW DO I KNOW I HAVE WON?

Login and check your dashboard for Won Vehicle alerts.  It is your responsibility to check to see if you are the highest bidder. If you are the high bidder at the end of a sale you will also receive an email including an invoice and the next steps regarding vehicle payment and pick up.

 

IF BID

An IF bid is a bid placed below the reserve price of an item. Although the bidder is not declared the winner at the end of the auction, they may be contacted by the auctioneer with a counter-offer to purchase the item. The bidder should check their dashboard to find out if they have received a counter-offer.

HOW DO I PAY?

We accept cash, checks, debit cars, or credit cards (3% processing fee will applied to all credit card transactions). Southern Oregon Auto Auction will have the billing paperwork and the keys once payment is received.

HOW SOON CAN I PICK UP MY CAR?

The vehicles will be billed and ready for pickup by the end of business on the day of the auction. If you need to make more immediate arrangements, let the auction managers know.

 

VEHICLE PAYMENT AND PICK-UP 

Vehicles are required to be removed from the premises by the Monday following to sale, or you will be charged storage fees. 

 

This is an “AS IS Auction” 

We do everything in our power to list the cars condition accurately and highlight the major flaws in advance on the site. All vehicles sold as is how is, where is. It is the buyer's responsibility to review and judge vehicle condition before bidding.
 

We Reserve The Right To Refuse Service To Anyone At Anytime For Any Reason

Terms and Conditions

1. **It is the buyer's responsibility to review and judge vehicle conditions before bidding.**

1a. Sellers are required to disclose important information about the vehicles, such as the title status, odometer reading actual or TMU, If no Catalytic Converter is present, and Grey Market.

2. The auction end date and time may be changed without notice to the bidders, please check back often.

3. To allow bidders plenty of time to bid, auction times will be extended if there is bidding activity in the last few minutes

4. All bidders must register before each sale. Bidding on any vehicle is confirmation of acceptance of all these Terms and Conditions.

5. The sales sheet/run list may change at any time. Bidders rely solely on their own observations and inspections in determining whether to buy a vehicle. 

6. Payment for vehicles must be in cash, business check (upon approval), debit card, Credit Card (3% fee added to each Credit Card Purchase), or floorplan (NextGear & ABS Finance). 

7. **Vehicles must be paid and removed by the Tuesday following the sale.**

8. Failure to remove the vehicle from the property after payment will result in storage fees of $10 per day, unless arrangements have been made with SOAA

9. The auction is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles that are not immediately paid for and removed from the property. 

10. The Southern Oregon Auto Auction hereby disclaims and excludes any and all warranties of title, including without limitation that the title is good and its transfer is rightful, and that the vehicle is delivered free from any security interest or other lien or encumbrance. The Auction also disclaims and excludes any and all warranties that the vehicle is delivered free from any rightful claim of any third party by way of infringement or the like. All vehicles are sold “AS IS WITH ALL FAULTS”, including but not limited to dash lights and mechanical defects. The auction will not always know the full history of the vehicle. The Auction hereby disclaims and excludes any and all implied warranties, including without limitation to implied guarantees. 

11. The sole and exclusive remedy for breach of contract of warranty shall be the return of the vehicle and repayment of the purchase price. Under no circumstance shall the Southern Oregon Auto Auction be liable for consequential or incidental damage; including but not limited to repairs, improvements, loss of use, and DMV/Registration fees.
